Fate whispers to the warrior,
“You cannot withstand the storm”
And the warrior whispers back,
“I am the storm.”
Life’s storms come in many forms and I am often reminded that sometimes the only control we have is the control of our breath. B R E A T H E.
November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month.
A year ago, I wrote in my first blog that lung cancer killed more people than most other cancers combined. It has long been stigmatized and ignored. A part of my mission is to help change that.
My sister was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer two years ago. She was 33, healthy and fit, and never smoked a day in her life. This design means so much to me — more than I can express. But, I don’t want to tell you her story. I would rather have you hear it from her. She finally wrote about it in the Axlete Blog, www.axlete.com/blog, and it is worth reading for yourself.
